About

Osteo Remedy was founded by Rob Herd in 2021. Rob is a qualified Osteopath based in Newton Abbot, and is insured and fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

He specialises in using a combination of osteopathic, chiropractic and physiotherapy techniques, from joint mobilisation, spinal manipulation and fascial stretching, to achieve the best results possible. Rob has always had a fascination with biomechanics and human movement.

Using these injury treatment techniques, Rob is able treat the immediate pain but also look to understand what is the primary cause of an injury in relation to the location of pain. This helps to resolve the problem permanently through initial treatment and rehabilitation techniques.

Prior to training in Osteopathy, Rob spent ten years as a personal trainer, working with individuals from all walks of life. As such, he has a rich knowledge of nutrition, fitness, strength and conditioning, and places great emphasis on the value of corrective exercise.
